Duties of a Machine Build Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance Team Leader or Engineering Assembly Lead
- As Special Purpose Machine Build Supervisor you will lead a multi-disciplined team of technicians to ensure each build is completed on time, within budget and that its handed over to the customer with complete satisfaction.
- As part of your role you will also be tasked with managing site services, driving 5S and ensuring all statutory regulations are adhered to.
Requirements of a Machine Build Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance Team Leader or Engineering Assembly Lead
- Have a proven background in leading an engineering team within a special purpose machine build environment. Where you have had direct responsibility for plant performance, achieving targets, process development, mentoring staff, setting and monitoring KPIs and managing time critical projects.
- Qualified to a HNC standard Mechanically
- Have climbed the ranks of engineering from an apprentice level (ideally in toolmaking or mechanical fitting) into a position where you have supervised a team.
